If your reunion is this year, January is a great time to prepare yourself for looking and feeling your best for your event. It is important to most of us to make a good impression with our alumni and friends at reunions no matter how many years it has been. In fact, getting ready for a reunion is a great opportunity and an excellent excuse to improve upon your personal health goals. Check this list and make some targeted selections. Then choose the realistic options and get started.
Set Your Goals:
- Lose weight
- Exercise to tone my body
- Have a new hairstyle or color
- Look younger via facial or body improvements
- Be in good health
- Fit into a new outfit in a different size
- Stop drinking and/or smoking
- Be more outgoing/friendlier
- Meet a potential mate
- Be able to climb several flights of stairs
- Network
- Reconnect effectively with those I lost touch with
- Make stronger friendships
- Not be depressed
- Gain self esteem
After reviewing and checking off any of the above goals, decide what to focus on and work on yourself from now until your reunion. Next, decide which are realistic and strive to acheive your preferences by finding books, writing notes and creating a routine to follow. Keep a chart and if you can, ask a friend to join you. Working with others provides incentives to stick to your plan.
Let us know your progress and your reunion date. We'll help you stay on track and look and feel your best. What have you got to lose? And, you will have everything to gain. Let us know how it goes.
