Let us help you plan your next military, class or family reunion.

Linda and Neal established Goodman Lauren Publishing in 1985. They have collaborated and perfected "The Reunion Planner" book and software since it was first published in 1992.

It all began as Linda was planning her 20th high school reunion. She asked Neal Barnett, a programmer co-worker, to help her put her alumni names and addresses in a database to simplify dealing with all her alumni information. After her reunion, the two decided to create a reunion planner unit, a how-to book and accompanying software to help alumni plan their reunions. When they realized there seemed to be a void in the marketplace for such a product, the two entrepreneurs worked to develop and market their product.

What started out as a small idea has blossomed into a successful company that has remained a solid contributor to the reunion planning industry for over 10 years. Their product has become a proven valuable tool to alumni and professional reunion planners alike in helping organize lists, mailings, budgets, name tags, memory books and more.

After the first book, many family and military reunion planners contacted the company to add features that were unique to families and military units. So the program and book were expanded with features to benefit all reunions types while keeping the integrity of the original focus, the high school reunion market. The book is now in it's third edition and the program will have Version 2004 available for next year's reunions.

Linda Johnson Hoffman is an event planner based in Los Angeles, California. In addition to organizing special events, fundraisers and political campaign dinners, she has spearheaded four of her own class reunions for North Hollywood High School in Los Angeles, California. She maintains a hectic pace as author, wife, mother and professional consultant. She is married and has a daughter in high school.

Neal Barnett has been a systems analyst for over 20 years. He has operated a successful computer-consulting firm, specializing in software and Internet development for businesses and information managers - and is a founder of 800wine.com, an Internet wine gift service. He makes computers work with equal ease for large corporations and for alumni planners.
